Post Master's Certificate (PMC) Option
Applicants with an MSN in a NP concentration seeking specialization in another NP concentration requiring less than 30 credit hours should consider applying for a Post Master’s Certificate (PMC).
PMC applicants may be considered for a fall or spring admission and are accepted on a space available basis.
- PMC applicants submit a preliminary application along with a copy of all official academic transcripts, a current RN license, one (1) letter of recommendation, a statement of philosophy, and a current CV.
- Once the College of Nursing reviews the preliminary application, applicants will be notified to complete the online non-degree FAU application.
Once applicant has been accepted into a concentration, a gap analysis will be completed to determine the required courses for each student. Based upon the gap analysis PMC applicants may be considered for a fall or spring admission and are accepted on a space available basis based on a space available bases and gap analysis and entry date will be determined. Students must provide syllabi and/or course descriptions from other institutions for all transfer courses. Fall or spring admission may be considered.
