Admission Requirements

Official transcripts from all prior institutions attended.


 
Earned BSN from a regionally accredited university and  a CCNE or ACEN  accredited nursing program 
Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the BSN and MSN program, or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT) scores are required for applicants with a grade point average of less than 3.0. 
All MSN admission requirements and have successfully completed Advanced Health Assessment, Advanced Pharmacology and Advanced Pathophysiology

Students must be licensed in the state in which they will complete practicum courses. 
A state/federal criminal background check is required for all admitted students. If admitted to the graduate nursing program the student MUST initiate the background check process as required before enrolling in courses. Costs are the responsibility of the applicant/student.  All admissions are conditional based on the outcome of the admission background check. Background checks must be updated annually by signed Oath and Affirmation statements.
