DNP to PhD Admission Criteria
All PhD program admission requirements outlined previously are necessary. Additionally, a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree with a Major in Nursing from a university or college of nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education is required. Transcripts must be sent to the University's Graduate College as described in the PhD program's admission section.
The following are also required for admission to the DNP to PhD program:
a) GPA of 3.5 for the DNP degree.
b) One reference letter from the DNP program is required in addition to others described in the PhD program's admission section.
c) Scholarly product from coursework completed at the DNP level.
d) All other PhD admission requirements must be met.
