Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing has grown from offering an RN-BSN degree with approximately 10 students to enrolling more than 1,100 students in four degree programs at FAU’s Boca Raton, Davie and Harbor Branch campuses. Today, there are nearly 7,000 College of Nursing alumni with the majority of them residing and providing health care to the population of South Florida.

The College is internationally known for its commitment to nursing as a discipline focused on nurturing the wholeness of persons and the environment through Caring. The College advances Caring Science through teaching, research, scholarship, practice and community service to transform care locally, nationally and globally.

Our 40th anniversary is a fitting time to celebrate and reaffirm our commitment to our missions and to imagine the plans for an even bolder and brighter future.

40th Anniversary Celebration

The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special evening event on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the College of Nursing. The event will benefit College of Nursing initiatives for nursing education, research and community service.

The celebration will honor Christine E. Lynn, and Dean Emeritus Anne Boykin & Dean Marlaine Smith, whose commitment to Caring has elevated the College, providing opportunities for it to soar to new heights.
