Susan Hale, who’s pursuing a Master of Advanced Holistic Nursing degree, has launched her own private practice, eBalance, an advanced holistic nursing practice based on “caring and healing using light, truth, and love” in Salt Lake City, Utah. She plans to make a transformative change in the future with “just one client at a time, through listening, enlightening, and empowering,” she said.
Hale has been an R.N. since 1995. Her nursing background is in bone marrow transplant research and hospice care. Hale had several personal experiences that directed her toward holistic healing and returning to school for her master’s degree, which she anticipates receiving in August 2023. “I was attracted to holistic nursing because of the commitment to self-care, the focus of caring for the whole person in a mind-body-emotion-spirit-environment, and the emphasis placed on health promotion, healing, and wellness,” she explained.
Currently, Hale is working on the renewal application for the continued endorsement with the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation, on behalf of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, with her mentor, Dr. Shirley Gordon.
