Kelley JacksonKelley Jackson, PhD nursing student, recently won first place at the 3rd annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition, presented by the FAU Graduate College, after presenting on "How Much Protein is Required to Prevent Sarcopenia?" Her advisors were Drs. Sareen Gropper and David Newman.

The 3MT® celebrates the exciting research conducted by PhD students around the world. It cultivates their research communication skills by asking them to explain their research in three minutes in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. At FAU’s event, the 3MT® included more than 100 graduate students representing each academic college at FAU.
