Alyssa Cusumano, a senior at #FAU Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, collaborated with Dr. Pratt to present at the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Showcase. The Poster Presentation was based on her work with the Canines Providing Assistance to Wounded Warriors (C-P.A.W.W.). Alyssa is collecting biopsychosocial data to analyze the impact of the human-animal bond on decreasing loneliness in veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). #posterpresentations #nursing #research #veterans.
