#FAU College of Nursing's Research Day with poster presentations of doctoral scholarly projects was a success! Congrats to all presenters. PhD Student Eftkhar Alroyley received the Best Poster Award for her research on Saudi Families’ Needs in the Intensive Care Unit with support from academic advisor Dr. Lenny Chiang-Hanisko. The following awards were also presented to DNP students: Leadership Excellence Award to Dr. Amanda Simonie; Clinical Excellence Award to Dr. Katelyn Horan; and the T. Touhy Caring in Gerontological Nursing Award to Dr. Jaimie Geyer. Sigma Theta Tau, Iota Xi chapter #AcademicExcellence #healthequity
