Food Drive: Chapter President of the American Nephrology Nurses Association South Flamingo Chapter

Dr. Debra Hain, Chapter President of the American Nephrology Nurses Association South Flamingo Chapter (Palm Beach, Broward Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties), and chapter officers led a food drive for people with chronic kidney disease receiving hemodialysis. The decision to do this was based on a response from a patient who expressed her inability to obtain food that met her needs as a person with kidney disease during COVID-19. We plan to continue our many efforts focused on meeting the needs of those with kidney disease during the pandemic.
