Congratulations to Dr. Rhonda Goodman

Congratulations to Dr. Rhonda Goodman, who retired from the College after serving as faculty for the past 10 years. Dr. Goodman is well-known for her passion and love for nursing students inside and outside the classroom. She served as faculty advisor to FAU’s Student Nurses Association (SNA), and mentored students in policy and advocacy. For several years, she has shepherded an impressive level of student involvement in SNA, leading to numerous and notable chapter and student achievements. Additionally, since creating a study abroad program in 2012, Dr. Goodman has taken hundreds of nursing students to Guatemala, providing culturally-appropriate health care to more than 13,000 indigenous Maya people. We look forward to our continued relationship with Dr. Goodman.
