CON faculty and students provide foot care for homeless in Broward county

On March 25, Drs. Opalinski, D'Avolio, and Wiese, along with 36 BSN and MSN students, provided foot care for 189 persons experiencing homelessness in Broward County. This community partnership with Holy Cross Hospital, Christ Church United Methodist, Broward Sherriff's Office, and Bombas Sock Company allowed the opportunity for each person experiencing homelessness to receive needed foot assessment and foot care, a new pair of sneakers, two pairs of socks and a hot meal.
