Dr. Lisa Wiese has been selected to receive the 2020 Florida Nurses Association Nurse Educator Icon Award. The Nurse Educator Icon Award honors an outstanding Nurse Educator.

Dr. Cheryl Krause-Parello has been selected to receive the 2020 Florida Nurses Association Nursing Innovation and Creativity Icon Award. The Nursing Innovation and Creativity Icon Award recognizes individuals, groups or institutions who have demonstrated innovation and creativity in any area of nursing.

Dr. Rhonda Goodman has been selected to receive the 2020 Florida Nurses Association Heather Scaglione Award. The Heather Scaglione Award recognizes an FNA member’s significant and outstanding contribution to support the work of the Florida Nursing Students’ Association and nursing students.

Mr. Armiel Suriaga has been selected as a recipient of the Edna Hicks Research Fund for his research entitled “A multi-year Investigation of the Socio-demographic Factors of Opioid and Non-Opioid Drug-Related Deaths among Older Adults in FL.”
