Florida Nurses Association Advocacy Days

Drs. Barry, Gordon, and Goodman accompanied 45 nursing students by bus to Tallahassee to the Florida Nurses Association Advocacy Days. Students learned how to speak to their elected state senators and representatives, and advocate for full practice authority for RNs and APRNs, safe practice environments for health care workers, salary increases for state health care workers, and protection against surgical smoke. What an excellent opportunity for professional growth and leadership development for our students!
