FAU's Giving Day Event Coming Soon

Florida Atlantic University’s Giving Day will run from September 14 – 20, and will provide the opportunity for Florida Atlantic alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and community to make charitable donations to a college/unit/program of their choice. The College of Nursing is looking to raise support for two specific funds during this Giving Day event:

 

• The College of Nursing’s Center for Advanced Nursing Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, and Clinical Learning (CANS) fund which aims to build an innovative center designed to train nurses to excel in the technologically advanced healthcare system. By immersing students in true-to-life clinical scenarios with Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, and other advanced tools, CANS will enhance critical thinking,
  decision-making, and communication skills, and improve patient outcomes. 

 

• The College of Nursing Emergency Student Scholarship fund, which plays a critical role in
  supporting nursing students who encounter an unanticipated crisis and require financial assistance.
  By providing a safety net during difficult times, the fund enables students to continue their education and
  stay on track toward achieving their goals. This support helps to ensure a future for these students and the nursing industry.
