Dean Safiya George joins Boca Helping Hands as a Board Member

Dean George BHH Boca Helping Hands (BHH) has a new board member. FAU Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing's Dean Safiya George joined the non-profit organization by accepting a position on its Board of Directors.

Dean George and the current BHH Board President, Gary Peters, are featured in a Boca Raton Tribune article about the announcement. In the article, Peters said he is pleased with the Dean's appointment to the board. “She is an outstanding community leader and we will benefit from her extensive experience.”

In the same article, Dean George expressed her enthusiasm for the organization. "BHH plays such a key role in providing crucial basic needs to its clients within the community. I am excited to contribute my expertise to further their mission and positively impact my community.”
