Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick's visit to FAU/NCHA

McCormick Visit

Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) traveled to West Palm Beach on February 23, 2023 to tour the nurse-led Florida Atlantic University Northwest Community Health Alliance (FAU/NCHA) Community Health Center at U.B. Kinsey Educational and Community Center.

She met with FAU's College of Nursing faculty members as well as the Community Health Center's staff during her visit, including the Center's Executive Director, Dr. Karethy Edwards.

The purpose of her visit was to learn more about the variety of primary care and behavioral health services that are provided to underserved communities in the area. Click here for information about the clinics.
