FAU's Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry retreat was held on August, 17 where over 20 awardees of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) showcased their research posters. SURF projects consist of a 10-week intensive summer immersion research experience for an FAU undergraduate student and faculty mentor. Representing the College of Nursing was Dr. Christine Toledo who mentored Theodora Tertus in a research study centered around breastfeeding practices and maternal mental health among South Florida postpartum women during the COVID-19 pandemic.
