Biography

Syvonne Terrell started her nursing career as a new graduate in Maternal-Newborn care. Over the next 12 years, she remained in various settings of Maternal-Newborn nursing from acute care to home health. During this time, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The one thing that she discovered, was the love of helping new graduates and new employees become comfortable in their new environments as they transitioned to the units. This love of helping others succeed in the workplace propelled her to return to education to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with the emphasis on education. Since graduating with her MSN in education, she has worked in both nursing programs and hospital education programs to ensure the success of the nursing professions new nurses. Most recently she has worked with senior nursing students to prepare for the NCLEX-RN examination. Syvonne Terrell has joined FAU Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing in December of 2023 to work with graduating nursing students as they continue to prepare for the NCLEX-RN examination.
