Biography

Dr. Rose Haklits joined the faculty at the College of Nursing in August 2022. Dr Haklits has been a registered nurse for over 30 years, specializing in critical care and post anesthesia care. Dr. Haklits has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the last 15 years, specializing in acute and chronic pain management. Prior to joining the FAU faculty, Dr. Haklits served as an academic nurse educator in Associate Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing programs throughout Connecticut. Dr Haklits has also served as Clinical Preceptor to multiple graduate students in Nurse Practitioner programs throughout Connecticut.
