Biography

 

 

Ms. Herlie Bertrand is a motivated registered nurse and faculty member, who is currently pursuing her PhD with her dissertation focus on health care disparities among black pregnant women. Her experience is in oncology, medical surgical, telemetry, stepdown, home health and community health.  Ms. Bertrand is experienced in simulation and lecture-based education, and is competent in clinical education of ADN and BSN nursing students. She is also a 2021 Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing Leadership Excellence Award recipient.
