Biography

André Antonio Alexander Williams, with a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University, has a rich educational background, including a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Statistical Computing. His career has been diverse, with roles such as Assistant Professor, Biostatistician, and Sr. Data Scientist at National Jewish Health, Temple University, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Atrium Health, Miami Cancer Institute, and Woebot Health.

Williams's career is marked by active involvement in diverse research projects. He has often collaborated with principal investigators on studies funded by institutions like the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense. His research interests, which span statistical methods for high-dimensional data, recursive partitioning, ensemble methods, and the use of informatic tools in biomedical research, are a testament to his expertise and passion for the field.
