Programs
Introduction to Harbor Branch
Nursing students on the Treasure Coast Campus can expect:
 
  • Learning fostered in a supportive caring environment
  • Small class sizes
  • Individualized advising
  • Internationally recognized faculty who are expert teachers, researchers, practitioners and scholars of nursing.
 
Courses are provided through a variety of modalities including on campus classes, online, and videoconferencing. 
 
Contact Hours
Each 3 credit nursing course may be used for 45 Contact Hours for Continuing Education Credits towards re-licensure, if needed. Please speak with the campus advisor for more information.

Programs at Harbor Branch
 
Undergraduate Program
 
  • The RN to BSN Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is for registered nurses with associate degrees. You may take courses online or in a traditional classroom.
 
BS-MS Dual Degree Program
 
  • The BS-MS Dual Degree Program is designed for licensed RNs to achieve both a BSN and MS in nursing in a shorter time than it would normally take to earn both degrees.
 
Bridge Program
 
  • The Bridge Program offers licensed RNs with a bachelor's degree in other disciplines and who are currently licensed the opportunity to successfully complete a "bridge" of undergraduate nursing courses and pursuit of a Master of Science degree in Nursing.
 
Masters Program
 
Required practicums may be arranged in the geographic area of the students choice. The following Core Courses that are required for all the Masters Program Tracks are offered at Harbor Branch either live, online or through videoconferencing. The courses are:
 
    • Advanced Nursing Practice Grounded in Caring
    • Advanced Nursing Practice: Roles, Policy and Finance
    • Philosophy and Theoretical Foundations of Nursing
    • Nursing Research and Evidenced-Based Practice
