Habits for Everyday Evolution Workshop

Jill Douglas is a teacher and healer with a passion for health, wholeness, and balance that’s contagious. Jill brings together yogic philosophy, structural integrity, mindful movement, and a deep reverence and awareness for the world within through the practice of yoga and integrative body work. 

Living a life steeped in spirituality requires so much more than showing up occasionally to a Yoga class. It requires the everyday cultivation of both the practices and perspectives that put you in the driver’s seat of your own evolution. In this workshop we will look at mental and physical habits that are time tested and yogi approved for shifting your identity towards the person you want to become; at your deepest core the person that you already are. 

Learn the actions and attitudes to move you from overwhelm to ease, and trade stress for peace and purpose-all brought to you by the ancient yogis of yore, made practical for modern living by yours truly.

Habits For Everyday Evolution Winter/Spring 2018 schedule

Starting February 20, 2018

FAU, College of Nursing, Room 115 (yoga room)

Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm

 *Please note that 2/20 and 3/27 are Tuesdays and the only variation from the regular schedule

 

Month 1

*2/20,2/28, 3/14,3/21

Daily Rhythms : Yoga and it’s sister science Ayurveda teach us how to go with the natural flow of energy through time for optimal health, increased happiness, and a more easeful relationship to life. This month we’ll establish daily routines around eating, sleeping, and starting the day. We’ll explore perspectives to align our inner and outer worlds.

 

Month 2

Daily Practices : We were all born with the capacity to be our own best caretakers. Month 2 is all about developing the skills that will fill your self healing toolbox. Discover how, when, and why ancient practices like meditation, self massage, and tongue scraping let you take your health and happiness into your own hands.

 

Month 3

Daily Integration : This last month we will look at how this all comes together and

synthesizing all you’ve learned into how you nourish yourself, your relationships, and your life.
