Dr. Pratt has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years. She began her career in labor and delivery and had the opportunity to nurse in other areas including corrections, public health, infertility, home health, and nursing education. The focus of her dissertation research was the experience of breastfeeding for women with perinatal depression. Her areas of interest include women's health, particularly maternal mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and community health.
