emma meyerEmma is obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. Emma is a Sophomore in FAU’s Freshman Direct Admission Nursing Program. She moved to Florida two years ago from Iowa. She left behind her best canine friend, Coby, but Emma video calls him a couple a times a week to get her dose of canine affection. She also is the proud fiancé to Airman First Class Culbertson of the United States Air Force. Emma and her fiancé recently rescued their first dog together, Shaye. She brings them both comfort, support, and unforgettable memories. This experience has strengthened Emma’s will to support a cause that is passionate about the benefits of human-animal interactions. In her free time, she enjoys doing hot yoga, spending time with her dog, and going to the beach. Emma looks forward to investigating and expanding our understanding of the human-animal bond as a research assistant with C-P.A.W.W.
