Research Assistant

Alyssa Cusumano is a new graduate from the Freshman Direct Admit Nursing Program at Florida Atlantic University. Alyssa obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and plans to work as an OB nurse in the future. Alyssa’s fiancé is in the U.S. Army. They have a 10-year-old shih tzu, Spot, and two cats, Tom and Harley. Alyssa became interested in becoming a member of the C-P.A.W.W. team because she understands the importance of the human-animal bond and would like to further learn about the effect of this strong bond while supporting military veterans and their families.
