allison boyrerAllison received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Syracuse University and Master of Art in Physical Education from University of South Florida-Tampa. Allison was the first graduate of the Master of Science in Nursing -Veteran and Military Health program at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. Allison and her husband lived in Florida for 17 years, where they owned an holistic healthcare clinic on the west coast. She is currently the Nurse Educator & Training Instructor at the Rocky Mountain Regional (VISN 19) Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and a doctoral student studying towards her EdD in Executive Leadership. Her research project emphasis will be on professional development for schools as it relates to the military child and family. Allison’s devotion and dedication to animals is profound, and she acts as a community ambassador for Canines Providing Assistance to Wounded Warriors (C-P.A.W.W.). Allison is married, with two children, and loves to volunteer in her children’s schools and spend time with her family and dogs.​
