FAU Student Nurses Association wins multiple awards at state convention of FNSA
Nov 8, 2017
The FAU Student Nurses Association chapter recently attended the annual state convention of the FNSA. Once again, FAU's SNA scored the most overall points and were the recipients of the Diamond Chapter Award. They also won the award for Community Health, and Image of Nursing/Breakthrough to Nursing. The Clinical Advocate Award went to Boca Hospital Preceptor Donna Davis, nominated by student Chris Demezier. FAU's SNA also won five positions on the 13-member FNSA executive boa rd. And, for the second year in a row, the state president is an FAU student. Congratulations to Sarah Thurlow, President, Nigam Reddy, Second Vice President, Anthony Goldberg, Recording Secretary, Isabel Cruz, Treasurer, and Kiara Bradley, Region 5 Director. Two additional students will be serving on FNSA state committees. Thank you to the outgoing FNSA officers. We're so proud of all of you and your representation of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing.
