Biography

Dr. Clarene Brown-King received an Associate Degree at Broward Community College. After practicing for several years, she attended Florida Atlantic University where she completed her BSN and MSN. She then returned to Barry University where she completed the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing.

Prior to joining the team at Florida Atlantic University, Dr. Brown-King was employed in an Acute Care setting at a Tenet Healthcare Facility for approximately 12, at Nova Southeastern University and Barry University College of Nursing. She has worked as an Adjunct Nurse Faculty in the Undergraduate program for 11 years, and is dedicated to achieve excellence, as well as promote students’ success with the Caring philosophy as the framework.

Dr. Brown-King is also a member of American Nurses Association (ANA)
