BSN to PhD Admissions Criteria

All PhD program admission requirements outlined previously are necessary with the exception of a master's degree with major in Nursing. A bachelor's degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education is required. Transcripts must be sent to the University's Graduate College as described in the PhD program's admission section.

The following are also required for admission to the BSN to PhD program:

1. GPA of 3.5 for the BSN degree.
2. One reference letter from the baccalaureate program is required in addition to the others described in the PhD program's admission section.
3. Scholarly product from coursework completed at the BSN level.
4. All other PhD admission requirements must be met.
